Veterans Day Freebies and Discounts

We have rounded up several Veterans Day freebies and discounts that are redeemable throughout the country.  We’ve also included a few Atlanta area Veterans Day activities.

We have included links to companies that state on their websites they are offering Veterans Day freebies and discounts.  All other links will be updated as soon as it is made available on the respective brand’s website or social media accounts.  Those that do not contain a direct link, please call ahead to confirm they are still offering the deal.


Veterans Day at the World of Coca-Cola

Military Ticket Offer

Military members (active duty, reserves, and retirees) can visit World of Coca-Cola free of charge year-round, but Veterans Day is extra special. To show World of Coca-Cola’s gratitude to the men and women who serve our country, the attraction is extending a special offer to their loved ones as well. From Friday, Nov. 1, to Monday, Nov. 11, members of the Armed Forces may purchase up to four half-price general admission tickets for their friends and family to join them in visiting the attraction. Tickets may be purchased with a valid Armed Forces ID card at the attraction’s ticketing windows.

Atlanta Veterans Day Parade

The 38th Annual Georgia Veterans Day Parade will begin in Downtown Atlanta at 11:11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. The parade will pass directly in front of the World of Coca-Cola, where the Reviewing Stand will be located, on Baker Street SE.

Atlanta Veterans Day Festival

Following the parade, a free Veterans Day Festival will take place from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. in Pemberton Place near the World of Coca-Cola. The festival will feature a variety of exhibitor tents, as well as a performance by the 116th Army Band. The event is free and open to the public.


Military-Themed Tour of Oakland Cemetery

Historic Oakland Foundation will offer a special military-themed tour of Oakland Cemetery at 11 a.m. Discover the stories of men and women who fought for this country and for democracy abroad. This hour-long guided walking tour will focus on World War I veterans. Space is limited. Get your tickets at the Visitors Center before the tour.  Find out more here.


Veteran’s Day Freebies and Discounts

Another Broken Egg – Veterans Day Breakfast for Heroes
They invite all veterans, active and retired military service members to enjoy a FREE Patriot French Toast Combo and coffee* on Monday, November 11th.  *Only at participating cafes – Valid 11/11/2019 only while supplies last.

Applebees – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military can choose from a FREE signature Thank You Meal menu that includes some of Applebee’s favorite items, including a 6 oz. USDA Select Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Double Crunch Shrimp, Chicken Tenders Platter or Oriental Chicken Salad.

Atlanta History Center –  Atlanta History Center’s annual Veterans Day program honors the sacrifice of the women and men who served in the United States armed forces. Join them at Veterans Park for a ceremony to honor all who served.   This is a free event. Active and retired military, veterans and up to five members of their families receive free admission to the entire Atlanta History Center campus following the ceremony.

Beef O Brady’s – Free meal for veterans with a purchase of equal or greater value up to $10 on Nov. 11

Bob Evans – Veterans and Active Duty Military, this Veterans Day they want to offer you a free meal from their special Veterans Day menu. Choose from one of the following: Country Biscuit Breakfast, Brioche French Taoat, The Mini Sampler, Stack of Hotcakes, Soup and Salad Combo, or one of their Dinner Bell Plates.

One free item from this menu is only valid for Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel on November 11, 2019, at all Bob Evans Restaurants. Dine-in only, beverage not included. Not valid with other offers, discounts or coupons. Veterans and active-duty military simply show proof of military service.

Buffalo Wild Wings –  To all the past and present members of the armed forces Buffalo Wild Wings wants to say, thank you by offering all past and present armed service members free small boneless wings and fries this Veterans Day.   Valid for small or 10-piece boneless wings (depending on location) and regular fries at participating locations only. Must show proof of service. Dine-in only. One offer per person.

California Pizza Kitchen – Veterans and active military members can enjoy a choice of a complimentary pizza, pasta or full-size salad and beverage from California Pizza Kitchen’s Veterans Day menu at all participating California Pizza Kitchen locations nationwide on Veterans Day 2019.

Chicken Salad Chick – Veterans or active service military will receive a free Chick Special and regular drink. The deal is valid for dine-in only on Monday, November 11.

Chili’s – All veterans & active military members can get a free meal on Veterans Day November 11, 2019 at all participating Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurants. Choose one of the following entrées: Chicken Crispers®, Margarita Grilled Chicken, Bowl of Chili or Soup & Salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Just Bacon Burger, Oldtimer with Cheese, or Cajun Chicken Pasta.

Chuck E Cheese – Active-duty, National Guard, retired military and veterans can get a free personal 1-topping pizza with proof of military service.

City Barbeque – All City Barbeque locations will offer a free sandwich platter to veterans and active-duty military with valid ID on Veterans Day 2019. The offer applies to dine-in as well as carry-out orders.

Cracker Barrel – Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free dessert at Cracker Barrel for Veterans Day 2019. The comfort food staple and country store support numerous military charities through their Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Foundation, including Operation Homefront, Fisher House Foundation, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and The Legion Fund.

Denny’s – Denny’s is honoring America’s heroes by inviting active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam® on Monday, Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon.

Dunkin’ Donuts – Dunkin’ Donuts is once again giving a sweet salute to all those who serve by offering a free donut to veterans and active-duty military on Monday, November 11th*

Fogo de Chão – Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão is offering all veterans and active-duty personnel 50 percent off their entire meal on Veterans Day weekend (Friday, Nov. 8 through Monday, Nov. 11, 2019) at all U.S. and Puerto Rico locations. In addition, up to three guests (for each military veteran or personnel) will also receive 10 percent off of their meals.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers – Freddy’s honors veterans throughout the year, but any veteran who visits the restaurant on November 11 will receive a free combo meal card good through November 30, 2019.


Golden Corral – Monday, November 11th from 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. get a FREE Veterans Day buffet and beverage to any veteran who has served in the United States military or is a current active duty service member.

Great Clips – FREE haircuts for veterans and active-duty military. If you are not military, pay for a service at Great Clips on Veteran’s Day and you will get a special card to give a veteran for a free haircut.

Hooters – Veterans and active duty military with military ID or proof of service can enjoy a free entree from a special Hooters Veterans Day menu with a purchase of a beverage on Veterans Day 2019. The special menu includes several Hooters favorites, including 10-Piece Traditional Wings, 10-Piece Smoked Wings, 10-Piece Boneless Wings, Hooters Burger, Buffalo Chicken Salad and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

Huddle House November 8 through 11, all current and former military members can receive a FREE order of Sweet Cakes.

IHOP – As a thank you for the extraordinary commitment of our nation’s heroes, IHOP is serving FREE Red, White & Blueberry Pancake Combo to Veterans and Active Duty Military on Monday, November 11th from 7am to 7pm.

Joe’s Crab Shack –  20% Off on Veterans Day, applies to tables of 4 or less.

Krispy Kreme – Offering a free doughnut and coffee to all those served or currently are serving. Proof of military service required or those in uniform. Only at participating locations.

Little Caesars – Veterans and active military can get a FREE lunch combo from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Veteran’s Day. Present ID or proof of service, but no coupon is necessary for this offer.

Logan’s Roadhouse – From 3 pm to 6 pm, Logan’s Roadhouse will offer a free entrée from the American Roadhouse Meals menu for veterans and active-duty military personnel. 10% discount year-round.

Longhorn Steakhouse – From November 11– November 14, veterans and current service members receive a FREE appetizer from a list of 10 delicious options, including New! Crispy Fried Green Beans, Lobster-Crab-and-Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms and Sweet Chili Shrimp.


Main Event – On Monday, November 11, all active-duty and retired U.S. military personnel will receive 30 minutes of gameplay that can be used on more than 100 interactive video games. They can also enjoy a free entrée from a special menu featuring Bacon & Cheddar Burger, Jumbo Wings & Fries Combo, 10¢¢ Ultimate Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza, Classic Cobb Salad, Crispy Chicken Tender Sandwich, and Chicken Tenders & Fries. O’Charley’s – On Monday, November 11 all veterans and active-duty military personnel will have their choice of one of nine meals on the O’Charley’s “$9.99er” menu for FREE.

NCG – All Veterans will receive one FREE 130-ounce popcorn on November 11.

O’ Charley’s – All Veterans and Active Duty personnel will receive a FREE $9.99 entree from this menu: O’ Charley’s Famous Chicken Fingers and Fries, House-Made Chicken Pot Pie, Chopped Steak, Low Country Shrimp, or Peach Chutney Shrimp.

Olive Garden – All veterans and active-duty members will receive a FREE meal from a special menu on Veterans Day on November 11.

On the Border – Veterans and retired members of the U.S. Military will receive a FREE Combo 2 on 11/11! Veterans will get to choose two of your favorite dishes off the Veteran’s Day Menu!

Outback Steakhouse – Outback Steakhouse will offer a special ongoing 10 percent Heroes Discount for all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders starting on Nov. 12, 2019. The Heroes Discount will be upped to 20 percent off their entire check from Nov. 8, 2019 through Nov. 11, 2019. Diners can also donate to Operation Homefront from Nov. 6, 2019 to Jan. 7, 2020 by purchasing a Homefront Hero cocktail or donating a meal to a military family through a gift card purchase or donating on their checks in their restaurant of choice.

Red Lobster – In honor of Veterans Day, and to thank veterans, active-duty military and reservists for their service, Red Lobster® is offering a free appetizer or dessert on Monday, November 11. Guests only need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer.

Guests may choose their free appetizer or dessert from a special menu that includes the following selections*:  Sweet Chili Shrimp,  Mozzarella Cheesesticks, Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Lobster and Langostino Pizza, Signature Shrimp Cocktail, or Langostino Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip.  Desserts include Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Warm Apple Crostada, Chocolate Wave, or Brownie Overboard.

Red Robin – Free Red’s Tavern Double and Bottomless Steak Fries for all Red Robin guests with a military ID or proof of service. Shoney’s – Shoney’s says ‘Thank You’ to America’s heroes by offering a FREE Shoney’s All-American Burger to All Veterans and Active Duty Military Members on November 11.

SeaWorld/Busch Gardens/Sesame Place/Discovery Cove/Aquatica – Military veterans and active-duty military get free entrance into SeaWorld theme parks for free or at lower cost when they access the theme park website through Waves of Honor. You must get the tickets through the Waves of Honor site – this offer is not available at the gate.

Shane’s Rib Shack – The All-American rib shack will honor active and retired members of the Armed Forces during their upcoming Military Appreciation event, November 11th through November 13th. Participating Shane’s Rib Shack Locations*, will provide military personnel and veterans with a free sandwich, regular side, and 20-oz. beverage of their choice; offer valid November 11th through November 13th only. Military ID or proof of service is required.

Shoney’s – Free All You Care To Eat, freshly-prepared Breakfast Bar for veterans and active duty service members. Dine-in only, from 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Proof of Service required.

Six Flags Over Georgia – In honor of Veteran’s Day Six Flags Over Georgia will be host Veterans Appreciation Days on Veterans Day Weekend  aturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, 2019.  During this weekend, Veterans and disabled Veterans will receive one free admission ticket to Six Flags Over Georgia with a valid Military ID card or DD214 and can purchase an unlimited amount of additional tickets for family members or friends at 50% off plus tax per ticket. ($35.99 plus tax).  Find out more here.

Sports Clips –  Sport Clips locations will offer free haircuts to active-duty U.S. service members and veterans on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2019, with valid proof of service.

Starbucks – Veterans & Spouses can score a FREE Tall, brewed coffee at Starbucks in honor of Veteran’s Day! Plus, $.25 of every brewed coffee purchased will be donated to a military non-profit organization.

TCBY – First 6 oz. of frozen yogurt for free.

Zoo Atlanta – Spend Veterans Day at the Zoo! On Veterans Day, November 11, 2019, veteran, active-duty, retired and reserve members of the U.S. Armed Forces enjoy FREE admission and $4 off general admission for up to six accompanying guests. Present a valid military I.D. at Zoo Atlanta to redeem the discount. Offer valid only on Monday, November 11, 2019; valid only in-person at Zoo Atlanta Admissions. The discount is not valid with any other offer or promotion.
