We have rounded up several Veterans Day freebies and discounts that are redeemable throughout the country.

We have included links to companies that state on their websites they are offering Veterans Day freebies and discounts.  All other links will be updated as soon as it is made available on the respective brand’s website or social media accounts.  Those that do not contain a direct link, please call ahead to confirm they are still offering the deal.


Veterans Day at the World of Coca-Cola

Military members (active duty, reserves and retirees) can enjoy a visit to World of Coca-Cola free of charge year-round, but on Veterans Day, World of Coca-Cola wants to show some extra gratitude to the men and women who serve our country. From Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 14, the Atlanta attraction is extending members of the Armed Forces a special offer to purchase up to four general admission tickets at half-price. Members are invited to share a memorable visit to World of Coca-Cola with friends and family in honor of the holiday, complete with a stop by the recently launched Scent Discovery experience. Tickets can be purchased online here, and members will be asked to present their valid Armed Forces ID when they arrive at the attraction.


College Football Hall of Fame

The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame is celebrating its rich military heritage this Veterans Day and every day, with free admission for all active duty and retired members of the military. Family members will also receive a special admission rate.  *Veterans and active military receive free admission year-round with a valid ID

Founded in 1951 by General Douglas MacArthur, legendary Army coach Earl “Red” Blaik and renowned journalist Grantland Rice, the Hall of Fame is proud of its deep ties to the great men and women who have served our country.

Atlanta History Center

Join Atlanta History Center at our annual Veterans Day commemoration ceremony honoring the service and sacrifice of all our nation’s veterans, past and present. This ceremony will take place in Veterans Park at the corner of West Paces Ferry Road and Slaton Drive, and will feature speakers, music, and the opportunity to connect with other veterans and their families. Ceremony guests will receive free admission to Atlanta History Center following the program.

The ceremony will feature keynote speaker Colonel (Retired) Richard White, Director/Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame. Colonel White enlisted in the US Army Airborne Infantry as a Private in 1966. The Norcross, GA native went on to serve 31 years, including 24 months in combat in Vietnam. His many awards include Bronze Star Medal for Valor, Combat Infantry Badge, Senior Aviator Wings, Ranger Tab, Special Forces Tab, and Master Parachutist Wings.

A key theme of this year’s celebration is honoring veterans inducted in the Georgia Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame. The Georgia Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring veterans as well as educating younger generations on military heroes. Every November since 2013, the GMVHOF inducts up to 15 veterans from Georgia.

This event is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged.


Georgia State Parks

To say thank you to our men and women of service, Georgia State Parks are inviting all military to a day of free golf. On November 11, military can play 18 holes for no charge at eight beautiful courses across the state. Golfers must call ahead for tee times, mention this discount and show proof of service. Veteran’s Day Freebies and Discounts

Please be prepared to show proof of military service when you take advantage of these offers.

Applebees – Applebee’s serves a free meal to active duty and veteran military service members. Call your local franchise and ask about details and requirements.

Bartaco – To honor our veterans, all active duty and retired military will receive 20% off dine-in food on Veterans Day, Thursday (11/11).

Big Daddy’s Burger Bar – To all Veterans & Active Duty service members, will get a FREE BD’s All American with choice of cheese & a side on  11/11 from 11am-3pm (valid military ID required).

Bob Evans – On Veterans’ Day, Bib Evans is honored to provide a comforting meal to veterans and active-duty military. On November 11, they’ll be offering a special menu of seven homestyle favorites available to veterans and active-duty military FREE* at their local Bob Evans Restaurant.

Buffalo Wild Wings –  Veterans, to thank you for your service, Buffalo Wild Wings is giving you 10 boneless wings and fries on November 11 with proof of service. Valid for dine-in or takeout via call-in orders.

Caribou Coffee – This Veterans Day, to say Thank You to all active duty service members and veterans, your hot brewed coffee is us on them, 11/11.  Caribou Coffee is also proud to partner with the American Red Cross to ensure those who serve our country continue to have our unwavering support. Dunkin’ Donuts – Dunkin’ Donuts is once again giving a sweet salute to all those who serve by offering a free donut to veterans and active-duty military on November 11th.

Lowe’s – Lowe’s is proud to offer 10% off eligible purchases every day to active military personnel and veterans.  You will need to create an account.

Outback Steakhouse – Today all military veterans, active service members and spouses can enjoy a FREE Bloomin’ Onion with any Coca-Cola beverage.

Sports Clips –  Sport Clips locations will offer free haircuts to active-duty U.S. service members and veterans on Veterans Day with valid proof of service.

Starbucks – Veterans, military service members and military spouses can enjoy a free tall hot brewed coffee (12 oz) on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. (At participating U.S. stores. Limit one per customer. Café and drive-thru only.)
We’ll also donate 25¢ for every hot brewed coffee sold on Nov. 11 to be split evenly between Headstrong Project and Team Red, White & Blue , organizations that support the mental health and well-being of the military community.

TCBY –  All Veterans and Active Military with valid ID will receive their first 6oz of froyo FREE.
