Oh, I can remember it like it was yesterday! Getting off the school bus and racing home just so I could catch my favorite shows on television. There was just something about those shows that came on right when I got home from school that made my days complete! Now you have to remember this was back in the day when all we had was a VHS recorder to rewatch shows. There was no Netflix, On Demand, etc… It was in the day of you better get home or you will miss it.
Scooby-Doo was one of those shows that I absolutely LOVED to watch! I have fond memories of lying in front of the tv giggling and marveling at this funny mystery-solving group of teenagers with their incredible Great Dane sidekick Scooby Doo. Plus, Daphne’s sense of style simply amazed me! That sophisticated purple wardrobe set off by her immaculate glossy red hair-oh Ihow I longed to be her and have Fred by my side. But I always had a soft spot for Velma too. With her superior intellect; I just longed to see her be in the spotlight. For someone to come along and value her brains and that orange sweater. Of course, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo always involved in some crazy hijinks made for a fun show to watch.
When I became a mom, I could not wait to share the shows of my childhood with my children. I wanted them to adore the delightful characters as much as I did. Although they would never know how it felt to race home to catch it on tv, that’s just something my generation can reminisce about. But one thing is or sure. the delightful; appeal of Scooby Doo has stood the test of time!

About the Movie
After the Mystery Inc. gang goofed up a case and nabbed an innocent man, they’re forced into early retirement from crime solving. It’s not long however, before their old friend Vincent Van Ghoul needs help and pulls the team right back into action. The gang has unfinished business they must tend to, which involves catching a ghost that previously got away. It all happened one summer while Velma and Freddy where away at camp. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and Daphne secretly hunted down 12 of the world’s spookiest ghosts but failed to catch the most evil one of them all…the 13th ghost.
Now the elusive spook is wreaking havoc. Vincent needs help having him captured and confined to the chest of demons, a box that contains the other 12 captured ghosts. With the 13th ghost still on the loose, the gang will have to come out of retirement and finish the job once and for all. The chest, however, is now located somewhere in a remote village in the Himalayas. Determined to help Vincent, the gang sets out on one of their most thrilling adventures yet!
