As a child of the late 80s and early 90s, I grew up watching some of the best television shows out there! Actresses such as Jodie Sweetin from Full House, Christine Lakin of Step by Step, and Beverly Mitchell from Seventh Heaven, three adorable childhood actresses, helped me navigate through my pre-teen and teenage years. Now, the ladies are back and in a BIG way! They are starring in their very own show on Pop called Hollywood Darlings. Hollywood Darlings turns the camera on real life friends who are bonded by a sisterhood that only they can share as former child stars. They grew up in the 90’s lime-light and it’s unscripted improvised comedy with three actresses playing exaggerated versions of themselves and their current Hollywood lives. Hollywood Darlings will premiere on Pop, Wednesday April 12th, at 8pm, Eastern and Pacific Time.
Friday I was given the opportunity to interview my favorite childhood stars, but before I begin, I just have to tell you about the chemistry these ladies share. As I learned through this interview, these ladies share a special bond as childhood actresses. You may think that they were in competition with one another, but the truth is they weren’t. They were actually friends and still are to this day. They have that kind of friendship that I know all of us have. You know, the one where you can pick up the phone and call that one friend and they will get up and listen to you-no matter what! The kind of friendship where you pick up right where you left off even if you have not spoken for months or even years. These ladies have that kind of friendship and it was extremely evident throughout the course of our interview. They honestly made me want to call my some of my “tribe” immediately afterwards and give them a great big ole hug right through the phone.
