Guinness World Records Gatlinburg

What kid does not enjoy thumbing through the pages of a Guinness Book of World Records.  As a teacher I know that this book is one of the hottest selling items when book fair rolls around!

The amazing book has come to life through incredible displays, interactive games, trivia, themed galleries and video! Enjoy hundreds of unbelievable exhibits of Guinness World Records from amazing groups of sports, space, animals, food, human achievement and more.  Featured memorabilia of famous record holders like Elvis, The Beatles, Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, and Much More!  There is something fun for every person in your group!

From the outside where many people stop to get this photo op to the last exhibit, we had a BLAST!  We read about people we did not even know existed.  We discovered records of things that we would have never thought someone would be crazy enough to do!

We loved the interactive exhibits found throughout the museum.  One of the boys favorite and the one they could not wait to get to was the strength test.  Check out their fun below.

One of my favorite parts was at the very end when I got the chance to work my magic on Ms. PacMan!  You know back in the day I was known to throw down on that game and here was my chance to show my boys what this momma could do!  Apparently the world record for clearing a level in Ms. PacMan is 35 seconds.  To be honest, that is pretty fast!  I got close–42 seconds!  Yes, I continued to play this over and over so all the high scores were mine for that day.  Even the boys could not beat momma!

We enjoyed our time at the Guinness World Records in Gatlinburg.  It really did amaze and astound us!  The only issue I would have and not that it is really a complaint but I am sure it is hard to keep it updated with new records and such being broken.  As a museum you have to expect when you go there that is is not feasible to update it daily.  If you want to know the latest records, check out some of the social media connections for Guinness World Records below.

My conclusion, go!  Take the kids and go.  You will enjoy it.

LOL at the boys in the video! My favorite part is when one of your sons only used his finger to break the bricks. Hilarious! I seen this exhibit while we were visiting the Smoky Mountains during spring break but wish we had enough time to visit. I need to make plans to go back out there again soon. The drive is not that long to get there which I like! #ProductReviewParty
