Are you still looking for that perfect gift? Gift giving does not have to be about a material thing when it can be so much more!
When my oldest graduated from high school and went off to college, I quickly realized just how much I had not done with him or my younger children. I realized that we had missed out on many opportunities to just experience life with our kids. We have given them all the gifts they asked for: video games, phones, computers, CDs, clothes, etc… If it was on their wish list, they got it. Unfortunately, the gifts did not provide us with quality time with one another. Instead, those gifts provided hours of our kids spending time connected to some type of device. This got me thinking about the bigger picture.
Give the Gift of Great Wolf Lodge
Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. It is about making memories with those you hold dear. From that moment on I realized that my goal would be to provide those memories for my children rather than focusing on the material stuff! I want my kids to look back on their childhood and have stories and memories to cherish and share with their children. So I want to challenge you to give the gift of experiences this holiday season! What better way to do that than to give the gift of a memorable trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Lagrange, Georgia!
Great Wolf Lodge’s Snowland
Right now Great Wolf Lodge is in the middle of its howliday season with its annual Snowland celebration through January 5, 2020. Spreading cheer to families with daily snow showers in the Grand Lobby and visits from Santa Claus along with a life-sized Gingerbread House, this is the best place for families to get into the spirit of Christmas. And with all the recent rain in our area, I can’t think of a better thing to do than splash in the 84-degree waterpark and create memories together that will last a lifetime.
From the moment you walk through the doors and step into the Grand Lobby, you can’t help but be merry and bright! The winter wonderland is filled with hundreds of twinkling lights, Christmas trees and other jolly decorations. Plus, you be amazed when you see the centerpiece of Snowland with the life-sized Gingerbread House constructed from more than 600 pounds of gingerbread dough, 1,300 pounds of sugar and hundreds of candies. For a truly delectable experience, guests can also dine in the life-sized gingerbread house with a small donation to the Ronald McDonald House.
Snowland Arts and Crafts
Howlidays aren’t complete with doing some winter arts and crafts and Great Wolf Lodge’s Snowland is the perfect place to make some great gifts to give away to family or hold on to for years to come. New this year is the Jingle Bell Craft where you create jingle bell “noisemakers” to use during the Snowfall Celebration to help it snow in the Grand Lobby.
Visits with Santa Claus
He’s made his list and checked it twice, now he’s ready to see who’s been naughty or nice! Be on your best behavior as you visit Santa and share your holiday wishes with him. Don’t forget to snap a memorable picture and have a jolly old time!
Snowland’s Most Popular Activities
Snowland’s most popular offerings are available including visits from Santa Claus; Santa’s Letter Depot, where kids can mail a letter to Santa in the Grand Lobby; and North Pole University, where kids complete fun, holiday-themed assignments around the resort for the chance to earn a Snowploma. During the howliday season, children’s activities such as Story Time, Yoga Tails and Paws on Projects will also get dash of Christmas cheer.
Even if you can’t make it during their Snowland event, Great Wolf Lodge is the perfect destination for families ANYTIME of the year thanks to its indoor attractions.
