Family Friendly Woodland Spirits at Fernbank Museum

Witches and Goblins of all ages will scream with delight this Fall at Fernbank Museum! They’ve got a spooktacular lineup of activities and events that sure to please even the tiniest monsters.

Fernbank Woodland Spirits

Now that Fall has officially arrived, it’s time for a frighteningly good time as the Woodland Spirits visit Fernbank Museum of Natural History once again. Now in its 3rd year, visitors can discover what or who’s lurking among the trails outside in WildWoods and Fernbank Forest.

Cross-paths with spirits who were unable to let go of the physical world and appear in the shadows, up in the trees and waiting in plain sight for their next scare. These ghostly sculptures were imagined by Fernbank, and transformed by local Atlanta artist, Laura Lewis.

Experience your own “Little Shop of Horrors” as you stroll through Monster Garden or head on over to Haunted Outpost where spiders, skeletons, bats, and more have taken over.

Looking for something a little less spooky? Scarecrows, haybales, and pumpkins give you all the Fall feels as Nature Stories has become Harvest Stories for the seasonal holidays.
