It’s not too early to start planning those Thanksgiving meal plans! I’m sharing one of my family’s favorite Fall apple appetizers – Honey Covered Bacon and Cheddar Apple Slices. This simple crowd-pleaser appetizer is easy to make and with Envy™ Apple, you do not have to worry about them turning brown too fast!

What are Envy™ Apples?
Grown in Washington State and New Zealand, Envy™ Apples are a cross between Braeburn and Royal Gala. These apples are extraordinarily crunchy and refreshingly sweet. Plus, they have a naturally higher citric acid content. Why is this important? Do you like for your apples to turn brown? Having this naturally higher citric acid content helps prevents the ‘browning’ enzyme from activating in apples. This means your apples and going to look GREAT for hours! You no longer have to worry about creating an amazing tablescape only to have your apples turn on you or better yet, you can send your child to school with apple slices that will look good when it comes time to eat them! I do not know about you but my children won’t eat apples if they look yucky.
