Cirque du Soleil Brings VOLTA, Its Newest Big Top Production, To Atlanta!

When my oldest graduated from high school and went off to college, I quickly realized just how much I had not done with him or my younger children.  I realized that we had missed out on many opportunities to just experience life with our kids.  We have given them all the gifts they asked for: video games, phones, computers, CDs, clothes, etc…  If it was on their wish list, they got it.  Unfortunately, the gifts did not provide us with quality time with one another.  Instead, those gifts provided hours of our kids spending time connected to some type of device.  This got me thinking about the bigger picture.

Give the Gift of Experiences

Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed.  It is about making memories with those you hold dear.  From that moment on I realized that my goal would be to provide those memories for my children rather than focusing on the material stuff!  I want my kids to look back on their childhood and have stories and memories to cherish and share with their children.  So I want to challenge you to give the gift of experiences this holiday season!  What better way to do that than to give the gift of a memorable Cirque du Soleil show.  They are absolutely stunning and something that everyone, kids included, should experience!  No two shows are alike.

About the Show VOLTA

Energetic, urban and contemporary, VOLTA is a captivating voyage of discovery that showcases never-before-seen under the Big Top acrobatics in a visually striking world. Driven by a stirring melodic score
and inspired in part by the adventurous spirit that fuels the culture of street sports, VOLTA is a story of
transformation. It is about being true to oneself, fulfilling one’s true potential, and recognizing one’s own
power to make it possible. Ultimate freedom comes with self-acceptance, and with the liberation of
the judgment of others.

The name VOLTA refers to a sudden about-face, a change in emotion or idea often used in poetry. It also speaks to the jolt of energy delivered through the show.
