Living a Full Life connects and empowers families and friends to live life to the fullest

Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf

I do not know about you but when we are on vacation, we play mini-golf!  It never fails.  We seek out one of the local mini-golf facilities and create a bunch of memories.  In the past my family has always seemed to struggle with playing the game “correctly.”  We have those that give up mid way through, those that take forever, and those that whine throughout the entire game!  For some reason when we visited Ripley’s Old MacDonald Farm Mini-Golf we were all in it and playing correctly!  It was a miracle!  Maybe it is because I traveled with the older children this time and we are mature?  Naw!  I would like to think it is because this mini-golf attraction just had an appeal to us quite like no other!

With 18 holes of “down on the farm” family fun, this mini-golf course features animated barnyard characters, water features, and interactive elements at every turn.  Located at the entrance to Tanger Five Oaks Outlet in Sivierville, Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf is a family centered attraction. Upon arrival you can select which course you and your family want to take.  We selected the faster one since we arrived at 10:30 in the evening.  But don’t let that worry you.  They stay open until your game is over.

Each course offers variety.  They are easy to follow and maintained.   I liked that I did not feel cramped.  There was plenty of room to move about.  The putting area was in good shape and you could easily see what you were shooting for.  Of course, if you make a hole in one on the last shot you win a free game!  Naturally, I can never seem to get that shot!

There is an arcade and candy shop at the end of the course.  We did not stay for it this time since we had arrived so late but from what I could gather, it looked like fun!

We really enjoyed our time here and will be back in the future!

It is a great place for families and I strongly recommend that you check it out the next time you are in the Great Smoky Mountains!

It seems pigs really do fly at Old MacDonald’s Farm!

Ripley’s also has another fun filled mini-golf attraction located in Gatlinburg.  While we did not get to this one this time, we will back soon to check it out!

With the Great Smoky Mountains as the backdrop, this fun-themed course replicates the “old days” when a Tennessee hero named Davy Crockett roamed “them thar hills”. Family and friends will enjoy spending a day with Ripley’s.

Love that there is a candy shop and arcade at the end, and the course which features animated barnyard characters, water features, and other cool stuff would be awesome to see. I love golf courses that are made to be really fun and not boring.
